Running of the Bulls

NBA: When Derrick Rose steps foot onto the basketball court, it's hard to believe the league's MVP is really only 22 years old. On Tuesday night, again, he put the top-seeded Chicago Bulls on his back, racking up 33 points and carrying his team to a 95-83 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The Bulls now hold a 3-2 Eastern Conference semifinal series lead and will have a chance to advance to the conference finals Thursday when Game 6 tips off from Atlanta.

Andrew Bynum lost more than his jersey after delivering an intentional blow to Dallas Mavericks' guard J.J. Barea in the Los Angeles Lakers' final playoff game Sunday. Bynum is now out $702,272 for his unsportsmanlike conduct. The NBA suspended Bynum without pay for the first five games next season, costing him $677,272. In addition, he was fined $25,000 for removing his jersey as he exited the court after getting ejected.

NHL: For three-straight games, the Detroit Red Wings have faced elimination. Now, it's the San Jose Shark's turn to see what it's like to be on the verge of getting ousted from the playoffs. After losing the first three games of their Western Conference semifinal series, the Red Wings have won three-consecutive games against the Sharks, including a 3-1 victory Tuesday night. Their second-round series is now tied 3-3, requiring a winner-take-all Game 7 on Thursday night in San Jose.

NFL: According to New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush, the NFL lockout is really like one big vacation. Bush was all the buzz Tuesday after he tweeted, "Everybody complaining about the lockout! Shoot I'm making the most of it! Vacation, rest, relaxing, appearances here and there! I'm good!" on Monday. "Right about now we would be slaving in 100 degree heat, practicing twice a day, while putting our bodies at risk for nothing." After many angry responses poured in from his followers, he later clarified, "FYI last tweet was a joke! Relax people damn it's called sense of humor! Cry me a river why don't you..."
