Roberto LuongoGreg M. Cooper/US PresswireCanucks goalie Roberto Luongo was torched in Game 3. Will he recover and help Vancouver to a 3-1 series lead tonight?

NHL: The puck drops on Game 4 of the Stanley Cup finals tonight, with the Bruins looking to build on their big win Monday night and even things up at two games apiece. Vancouver defenseman Aaron Rome's crushing hit on Nathan Horton in the first period of Game 3 inspired an eight-goal outburst from the Bruins and sparked a new level of hatred between the two teams, who combined for nine misconduct penalties and 118 penalty minutes in the third period alone. With Horton and Rome out for the remainder of the series (Horton to injury, Rome to suspension) some new faces may come into play in tonight's big tilt. A win for the Canucks would set up a possible title-clincher back in Vancouver, while a victory for the Bruins may change the momentum of the series for good (8 p.m., Versus).

MLB: The Cardinals look for a sixth straight win over the Astros when the two teams meet in the second of a three-game set tonight. Albert Pujols has played out of his mind of late, smacking five home runs in his last four games. Houston's Bud Norris has the unenviable task of trying to slow down Prince Albert tonight. It'll be Jaime Garcia on the hill for the Astros (8:05 p.m.).

Aaron Cook will make his season debut for the Rockies tonight when they close out a three-game set with the Padres. Cook, who was 6-8 with a 5.08 ERA in 23 starts last year, had been sidelined with shoulder stiffness and a finger injury. Dustin Moseley will start the rubber match for San Diego (6:35 p.m.).

The Red Sox have their sights set on first place in the AL East, and a fifth straight win would give that to them. Tim Wakefield will take the bump tonight, looking to lead Boston to a seventh win in eight meetings with the Yankees this year, while A.J. Burnett will try to change New York's luck and keep it atop the standings (7:05 p.m.).

The Tigers look to sweep the Rangers tonight in the finale of a three-game set down in the Lone Star State. Detroit has scored 28 runs in its last three games to win four in a row and eight of its last nine. The Rangers will send the undefeated Alexi Ogando to the hill, hoping he can slow the Tigers (8:05 p.m.).
