NHL: The Sharks are fighting for survival in Vancouver tonight. With a win in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals at home, the Canucks can close out San Jose and advance to their third Stanley Cup finals and first since 1994 (9 p.m., Versus). Don't expect a repeat of Game 4, when the Canucks scored four goals on just 13 shots (a franchise low) and set an NHL record with three five-on-three goals. Vancouver would be the first President's Trophy winner to advance to the Stanley Cup finals since the Detroit Red Wings in 2008.
NBA: Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Heat and Bulls tips tonight in Miami with the Heat leading 2-1 (8:30 p.m., TNT). Losses in Games 2 and 3 represented Chicago's first two-game losing streak since Feb. 5 and 7. To avoid its first three-game losing streak this season, Chicago will have to contain Chris Bosh (34 points in Game 3 on 13-of-18 shooting) and improve its effectiveness in the half-court offense. This is a must-win game for the Bulls.
MLB: Every MLB team is in action tonight, so check your local listings (and your weather forecast) for details.
