ESPN softball analyst Jessica Mendoza recently traveled to Rwanda as part of the Girl Effect, a project created by the Nike Foundation, NoVo Foundation, United Nations Foundation and Coalition for Adolescent Girls to "give girls living in poverty the opportunity to create a better future."
